What has truly helped you alleviate tendon pain?

For those of you that struggle with chronic knee pain, shoulder pain or elbow pain - what has actually been effective in helping reduce the pain?

I currently take 3g of EPA/DHA per day and 1g of Tumeric/day.

I've experimented with mega dosing the standard Glucosamine/Chondrotin/MSM and didn't experience any relief. I've also tried Collagen without much luck.

I should also mention that I've experimented quite a bit with tested BPC-157 and TB500.

I can attest that they do work. But from my experience, they will not help significantly with chronic issues. Rather, they're pretty effective at expediting the recovery period for an acute injury.
 
Not doing a movement that causes it. Or if it does, not going to balls out failure. Like Dorian mentioned on a recent DJ podcast, he would sparingly use use to failure and forced reps, rest paused, on bodyparts he wanted to bring up. And, train the other ones not as intense.

EPA found in fish oil , at least one gram, up to two and even as high as five! This also has other benefits in addition to anti inflammatory effects like on mood and depression.

It seems when estrogen goes too low or even low as well.

I use BPC-157 pretty frequently and no longer use TB500 but I love it.

The stem cells were a gift from my wife last year.
 
Eliminate what is causing the issue. Clanging exercises and form as needed to do this. Masking the issue with chemicals can aggravate the problem or at least continue it. Chemicals are the last thing i do before i choose surgery. This is what i do now after many years/decades of trying other ways to get around the issue.
 
Not doing a movement that causes pain is good advice. Work around it, use a movement the causes no pain.

I did not train for 6 weeks and just got back to the gym. An annoying pain on the outside of my right elbow surfaced and I went straight to my tried and true remedy for that, Diclofenac cream. Works for me within 30 minutes. No pain. Gone.
 
Time off.
Only thing that ever truly worked for me.
Especially as I got older.
