What is that 80's hair design

Hey wsup guys,
I'm going camping this memorial day weekend and I want to comemorate our soldiers that have fought for our freedom by shaving or designing a tribute to them. I don't know what it is called but alot of black brothers used to sport this hair style in the 80's. Should I have my barber use his clippers to carve the word marines in my head or sempri fi ..........Give me some suggestions I'm open and ready, a little nervous but I want to support my heroes!
Also where can i find any links to pictures of people who have it...any links would be most helpfull....thanks guys

You talking about a flat top? Mullet? Im not sure I understand what cutting your hair has to do with comemorating our soldiers, and Im sure there are better ways to show your appreciation but to each his own. I would go with something like this...
