what is the judging criteria anymore? do symmetry and muscularity count anymore? it would seem even from only one pic that you could be pretty justified in saying the bodybuilder on the left is both more symmetrical and has better muscularity than the bodybuilder on the right would it not?

Rockel looks far better from a symmetrical stand point and also in aesthetics than Jay. However, like I said a few weeks ago, unfortunately it's all about the MASS and as you can see Jay is far bigger than RR. I know that its a f***** up way of looking at things but, people want to see freaks not the best looking physique.

Problem is the judging criteria are not being applied, sometimes they are, sometimes they arent, there's not much logic to them

Put Schlierkamp next to Rockel and you will have an even bigger 'why did Rockel place lower??' reaction

so what your saying is as long as you look better from the back, more specifically a wider/thicker back you will win, that is the way things seem?? seems to be he could beat jay in 3/4 of the comparisons but because jay had 1 better bodypart he wins. i guess they are judged on bigger is better but then shouldnt ruhl have won then, ruhl was bigger was he not?? would love to see the same comparison of the above bodybuilders in an ab/thigh shot that would make things look even worse than they already are.

i could give 2 shits who mr. olympia is, just wonder what is actually being judged sometimes.
