Why do I shake under heavy weight?

This only happens on chest days. First I start off with one main set on the incline. 3x warmup. The main set I put on 280 and I can do about 7 good reps but its all shaky. Next is is flat dumbell presses. I grab 130 and can do about 10 but once again all shaky. Do I have some under devolped muscle thats causing this???
 
nerves--you even stated it in the title--why do i shake under 'heavy' weights--its an issue of the weight that makes you shake---dont think about the weight and see how it goes

I find sometimes when I really push it, and I mean really push it, My arms shaked a bit, probally nerves and muscles like What the Fuck did we just do.

Try using some heavier weights you body is probably trying to float up off the bench with those light weights. ;)

On a serious note since you are able to do 130 lb DBs you might want to up the 280 I am sure you can do it.

Look bro, you and I both know why you're shaking. It's because you're laughing so damn hard when you realized that you aren't even feeling those light weights. All kidding aside though, are you possibly anticipating the weights and tightening up your arms and shoulders? Check your breathing and make sure you don't tighten up too much before you start your set. When you're doing a final set to failure we all know it's OK (and normal) to strain and shake a bit but at the beginning you may be tensing up a bit. :confused:

ITS NEURO MUSCULAR. the nerves are firing off at a very increased rate. it is a very individual thing. some do not shake at all. some shake uncontrollable.
 
it would realy depend on your indivduel cns, it would also have alot to do with effector stimuli.
 
I only tend to shake when I finish up my chest day with pushups till failure.
