Hard work makes me feel good. I believe man was designed to work hard physically and in return he is rewarded with money (if his job is labor intensive) and a healthy, masculine physique.
I have a relatively easy job so lifting heavy iron satisfies this basic law-of-the-land.
all of the above. in addition, i like the looks i get in the gym, at the beach, in the grocery store, from the cops when it four of them to cuff me and escort me to the squad car.......and i like to look good naked lol
To feel good about myself. Strive to be the best I can be. And relieve the stress and anger that builds up inside and makes me wonder if I can squeeze my bosses neck hard enough to make his eyes explode!!!!!! Oh ya and to get chicks
Due to an inability to hold any muscle whatsoever without weight training. Also having shit genetics makes it harder and i love a challenge. Id have probably lost interest if i had body building genes
started with trying to impress a girl... then fell in love with training... then began competing... fell in love with competing.. now its borderline compulsion.
I always have a better day when I am able to lift. No matter how crappy I feel, or whatever stress life has thrown at me that day.... I feel much better mentally when training.
As a matter of fact, I went into a 'funk', might even say depressive state - when I was unable to train for a long period of time (injuries).
