Why doesn't Ruhl place higher?

The guy is absolutely dominating on stage, I'm wondering what is keeping him from placing higher? Honestly I don't understand how he has placed as low as he has the last 2 comps.
I'm starting to think bb'n is turning into the new figure skating as far as judging goes.:s;ar-wars

its because when we send him close to seventy dollars for his DVD, He dosent send it, nor the money back!

Im just a little jadded. I really started to like Markus (and admitt I still do) so the wife bought me the DVD when it came out. I know its not HIS fault but we are out hard earned money so of course......were jadded.
I have seen the youtube clips and when we got stiffed a lot of board members offerd us copies.
IMO he places where he does based on proportion. He IS a fan favorite at the O. He is HUGE. No question. But it comes down to the proportion. Also gut control has hurt his past placings.

my thoughts as well...

his protortion and symetry are off, some of his bodyparts dont look ritght? (like his biceps) his back is underpar with the rest of him massive physique... he is a s big as they come and usually hits condition dead on.... i really like seeing him compete and think he is great for the sport....

Its starts with politics and judging. I think he has a great massive physique. He should place much higher. maybe it is proportion and symetry?

His skin is really thick. Either that or he cant get tight enough. It would be cool if he could reproduce 2002 NOC look, he won the show and was in pretty good shape.

He's big, but has a visually un-appealing physique. He is just overgrown muscles. Nothing looks right on him. He looks like a freaky He-Man villian.
I like the idea of bodybuilding being an exageration of the male physique. Broad shoulders, small waist, you know?

I agree. The dude is damn massive but he is not as good as the rest who placed higher in proportion and symetry.

He is huge, but absolutely unappealing. He is the most obvious example of TOO MUCH syntherol !!!! I have a hard time looking at him and even thinking he looks real. I saw a pic of him from years back though when he looked great, he just took SIZE too far even for the O judges.

He is full of synthol.
But I like him, he's a freak and has a great personality.
He just has fun

Marcus has taken it too far and too long like nasser did with improper and over use of site injections plus he's a monster but sacrificed conditioning for mass.

I thought he looked a lot better slimmer and more defined YEARS ago...but you know the way BB'ing goes...big..bigger...biggest...sloppy...
