WHY DONT THEY PUT BB CONTEST ON TV

but it is now taboo, and not mainstream. Back in the 90's I remem it being on espn and what not. I was pretty cool then but didnt understand it then. They once in awhile bring BBing events to pay per view.

For a couple of the Arnold Classics, I believe it was late 90's, they had 1 hour segments on UPN, hosted by Arnold himself. I wish they would have kept that going, it was pretty good.

When I was in high school in 1998, ESPN had a special on Flex Wheeler and his contest prep for the Arnold Classic which he won hands down. They also played the contest. Arnold said it was the best anyone had ever looked on stage to that point. Nasser took 2nd. After I saw those guys, I wanted that look. Flex was supposed to take the 1998 Olympia but some guy named Ronnie Coleman killed that idea.

I live in Los Angeles and I have cable television and there are over 75 channels, and all that's on is crap! I'm telling you, I am lucky if there is one thing on that I want to see. I would love to see bodybuilding but do you think they ever show it? NO!

If BB'ers were smaller you'd get more TV views.... Unlike non-bodybuilders most can't see themselves able to look like the guys on TV.... So they aren't as interested. Baseball etc are social type games.... You can talk to an average joe and can relate.

it makes people feel lazy and guilty and generally bad about the way they look.It an attempt to rid the guilt they rush out to purchase snacks .This causes a riot at the snack sellers.Hence no more bb on tv ,too much rioting .Plus all the girls just get too horny and leave their partners and go look for bodybuilders.

That is BS. They put America's Next Top Model on tv and I know for a fact that I certainly can never look like that. Cant really grow a foot and a half and only weigh 90 lbs. I still have to look at those bitches. ( I secretly love that show and how catty they are. oh, gotta love The Next Pussy Cat Doll too).

I'm saddened that for the second year in a row that The Mr. Olympia will not be on PPV. I dont wanna have to subscribe to some "other" message board and be at the mercy of the internet gods.

Why wont they at least put it on PPV?
