why have i hust noticed this, advice?

Well am stood up looking in the mirror at home getting ready to go to bed take my shirt off then suddenly i notice my right pec is a lot bigger than my left(my left pec is not lagging in defintion just size), any advice how i've let this happen what would/could i do to solve this problem and stop it recurring? Thanks bro's

DO all your chest workouts with Dumbells!!
 
but i like the bench and dont think i could through it out of my routine, maybe for a couple of weeks but i dont think that would long enough to solve my problem, (plus at the mo im really concentrating on bench, thats maybe why i have noticed this, it could well be the benchpress fault).

First and foremost do you have any stiffess in you're neck or traps?
Knots in you're traps or upper back?
numbness in you're left hand, fingers, or arm?
Is there a large difference in size between you're right arm and left?
I ask because sometimes you can suffer a neck injury that effects the nerves and their path. If this is the case everything downline of the nerve damage will be affected.

Hi no knots or numbness gladly just a visual noticability.
 
My chest is the same way...but with my minimal development, the asymmetry is probably not as prominent as yours.

Yes, dumbells rule for chest development, try it and it will actually improve your benchpress, I personally use flat bench, incline bench and last but not least the dumbell flyes.:D
 
I have the same problem and i have been using mainly dumbells for the last 2-3 months and i can hardly notice anymore.
 
when you do the pec dec you can also do 1 arm. this also lets you bring the arm across the midline and give a better rom.

also, is the delt on the small pec side more developed? sometimes if you aren't properly depressing the scapula when benching (shoulder is hitched up towards ear) your delt takes most of the stress, and not much goes to the pec. i had this problem, and one thing that taught me to fix it was occasionally doing a horizontal press machine where i could see my shoulder level in the mirror.
 
Sass, do you want to be a powerlifter or body builder? Herein lies your answer. I have not done any bar work for chest in years. I have no problems with strength or chest development! If you want a bigger better looking chest then use dumbells.
