Why is Test so expensive at the pharmacy

Why is Upjohn Test at the US pharmacy $120? Watson and the generics are only about $10 cheaper.

I was just reading the thread about how much a bottle of Test was back in the 80's....... $10.

From what I hear the UG labs were paying for powder, somebody here in the US must be making a hell of a profit on pharmaceutical test. The patent expired many years ago.... just don't see why such and old drug is so expensive.

pharmaceutical companies are on par with oil companies for STEALING money legally.

pharms make money by producing drugs which are addictive and must be taken for years or life. making drugs that actually 'cure' or fix something isnt profitable.

I'm paying $100 a bottle at Walgreen's for that exact same stuff.

look at some things like Arimidex at over $300 for 28 tabs which cost maybe $0.25 to make.

I wont even get into GH which is dispensed for 20+$/iu, when costs are again under a dollar/iu.

Its just legal robbery.

Those big companies are typically after big profits meaning higher prices passed to the customers.

that sounds like a good price. I get mine for about $30 with insurance and its just 100 mg/ml. I think they charge the same no matter what the concentration is when I do it mail order. buying at a local pharm is a lot more expensive. I know I have payed the same price in the past for 90 tablets as I did for 180 tablets, so dose of the drug seems to not matter when its a maintenance drug.
