What is the least expensive, most convenient, easiest to prepare protein meal?

I'll go first......cottage cheese......nothing better than picking up a tub of cottage cheese, sprinkling a little Lawry's red salt......and in no time flat you have a great tasting, high protein meal.......what say you???

Salmon fillets from Aldi's or Sam's club. For about $1.20-$1.40 a serving you get 38g protein. Pan it with some salsa or citrus.
