I know it's different eras and standards, but Lee Haney never had the biggest or best legs on stage. His upper body was bigger than his legs, but I think that made the flow and taper of his physique more dramatic. Brandon is really reminding me of him in this showing. I also think he brought up his back and bested Phil in the RDB. His upper back/rhomboids especially looked thicker than Phil's.

I don't know how to call it, but I want Brandon to win and I think Phil is competing for 3rd or 4th.

Did Phil lose size? Seriously. He looked good, but lined up with the rest of the guys, everything just glared. Especially when posing, Ramy and Curry not losing any steam while Phil's gut starts spilling out lol

As Airman posted earlier when Phil done this Brandon should have simply turned round and pointed to Phil's gut. You can see his gut is hanging out and he is mocking Brandon's legs. I know the reasons competitors do this type of stuff I just find it strange Phil would do that when he is far from his best. He definitely has an inflated ego so coming 4th (hopefully) tonight may bring it back it down a little.

And Ansley is likely close to losing a step. I don't think this is widely known, but he's 41 - he's unlikely to improve noticeably. I couldn't believe the commentators were talking about him moving to 212, one of the many ways they showed how out of touch they are.

That's crazy, I had no idea he was that old. He looks great for 41 but you're right, he's not going to make huge improvements. Bumstead is only 25 (26 in February).

Hadi was screwed, he was much better than Brandon and Phil, and had the more sharper condition of all, better quads than Brandon, the best A&T, harder glutes and hams.

Hell, I like him more even than Ramy, although in some poses he is not so massive
