27 years later and I'm at my lightest weight sitting at 219 lbs..I like to keep myself around the high 240's to the low 260's..The reason I've cut down is to try and get my B/F under 10% for my next cycle to see if it will help an old man @ 57 yrs of age maybe put on a little quality muscle and keep B/F at bay..

For the past 5 yrs I've been cycling and in between cycles have done HRT..I've now been off gear totally for about 3-4 months and yes my sex drive became a ghost, my strength and size has become a casper also..Problem is I'm at my lowest B/F right now ever @ 12.4% but can't seem to get it any lower without sacrificing more bodyweight..I can see the upper two rows of my abs but have that pouch at the bottom mostly likely from all the beer I drank over the past 35 yrs.....Been a fat boy as a kid, young adult and in my 40's and early 50's....

I don't wont to go any lower in bodyweight. So how can I get my B/F down under 10% without anabolics and still maintain my weight..I'll listen to all suggestions..Please help as I'm getting older real quick and time may not be on my side much longer...

Note: I stopped drinking all alcohol 16 days ago and done with it..
 
I am trying to get those abs before I get any older too. Upper is fine and lower not so good. I have read many of your posts. For 57 I am sure you are in better shape than most of the 27 yo out there so dont stress. I see that you went off HRT totally. Just keep an eye on your blood work - it sent me to a state I didnt want to be in.
I did too much rope crunches and that is why the upper is better. Lately been trying to do more lying leg lift crunches to overcome the same problem. Hopefully someone else can chime in.
 
Why worry about weight, it's just a #, worry about how you look.
 
very clean diet with perfect amount of calories. perfect timing of your cardio. thats about all you can ask for. if you want your bf to drop your gonna drop a few pounds. Or your gonna have to somehow eat the exact number you need over a long period of time and you would gain LBM without gaining fat. which in return would make you have a lower bf%. Definetly gonna be a longer process then you want. If you not wiling to drop weight and not take anything.
 
Just remember, focusing on what the scale says is one of the biggest traps you can fall into. Women fall into that one all the time. They don't realize that every woman that has weighed "x" number of pounds lied about that weight. Most women think that you need to weigh 117 pounds and be 34-24-34 to be perfect.

For men, muscle dysmorphia tells them that they need to weigh 250 to be huge. Some of the best physiques I have ever seen are guys that weigh around 200 pounds.

Of course, I have no idea how tall you are. How about posting that stat up for us.

It is impossible at your age and after your AAS usage history......you will need to build muscle to burn more fat while maintaining weight. It is what it is.....but I would NEVER go clean in your case.......it is quality of life suicide.

Thanks buddy you always come through..Right after reading your post last night went in and injected 200 mgs..I admit for the past 2 months I keep getting sick with a sore throat..and just feeling lethargic.

AGREED ... i am in much the same boat...20 years of drug usage...i came to terms with it a long time ago...i will ALWAYS have to be on something, these days its is only 150mg of test cyp per week taken in 3 50mg doses and i feel pretty good and can maintain 250lbs in pertty good shape. But take away my hrt and i may as well be dead, too much damage doen...IT IS WHAT IT IS...INDEED.

No matter what I did, gear, diet, different training, cardio etc.. I could never break below 12% while I was drinking. Even if it was only once or twice a week. Give a few more weeks now that you added some gear and stay away from the bottle I think you see some good results. Just my experiance

Wow T.O.M..for someone who is 57 yrs old you are in pretty fucken good shape.Even at 217 12% i would not complain.But i do understand we always want to look our best no matter what.Like others have said you cant do both.

What i would do is go on a very lean bulk..gain about 5 pounds of msucle(this will drop you bf%) and then diet down again.With you cycling again like that you should actually get there in no time.

Honestly,i hope i look as good as you at 57..

higher cals and more cardio? i noticed i can keep a decent weight when i increase calories while adding more morning cardio on an empty stomach. but im also cycling.

Phil it is similar to a Jumbo Shrimp, being alone together, or almost pregnant.

I am glad that it is now clear for you because many times things of this nature can be "clearly confused" or worse yet "clearly misunderstood" and almost all times it is "systematic chaos"

Thank God you said this...I'm so sick of people trying to set up a "Cycle" that will give me a "Lean Bulk" ...just as stupid as "cooking" your oils....:eek:

He can go about by eating clean and just above maintenace(yes,his hunger alone can dictate this or if he wants to be sure calculate 500 cals over maintenace).This way he gains muscle with little bit of fat.Then diets back down again until his desired BF% is acheived..
 
T.O.M, your stats are great no matter what your age is. Great job and hope you reach your BF% goal. Keep it up brother!!!
