I agree, the prices are outrageous, espicially the grains like quinoa, the organic greens, that's why I go to places like Trader Joes when I can, prices so much cheaper.

50 bucks a week, I guess it can be done, no going to whole foods or anything else organic, including wild rice, that stuff is 7 dollars a pound.
Hmmm find it hard to believed that but how much chicken, meat, fish he buy a week. So if its just chicken he is buying would you wanna eat chicken all day through the week lol. I spend 186 Aussie bucks a week on 6 days and 7th day is my cheat meal.

gotta shop around, read the sale papers weekly. I debone and take the skin and excess fat off. thighs unless im bbq them. Its hard to over cook thighs on the pit.
I love chicken breast. I have 6 large ones every day. Only reason iv don't have 7 is I b have a lot of protein powder to use up and trying to save money. I've been on 6 ac day for all over 6 months. Never get tired of them. Just plain chicken breast with black pepper

It's not good to eat the same shit every day. I eat tons of protein every day. chicken, beef, kangaroo, Camel, buffalo, fish etc. Why do people eat same old chicken shit every day is beyond me. That's not a balance diet.
Not all of us have access to kangaroo, camel an buffalo lol. I do mix mine with eggs in the morning. Beef an chicken during day an last meal is fish now.

I guess the main reason is convenience for most people. If you're going to knock back 5-7 meals a day, it's just easier to cook all your stuff at once and eat the same stuff. Switching up the protein source for dinner is obviously much easier since it's at home, but at work, kinda stuck with the same stuff. This is, unless, you want to switch that up too, but still doing a big meal prep
