I got a little better video tonight. 1 more rep than last week. I was in a minor accident on Tuesday, didn't think nothing of it. But my lower back was a little tight tonight, usually I feel nothing in my back.

YouTube - KM Strongman 545 deadlift

They always feel heavy as shit and feel like I could do no more, but then I watch the video and realize I could have. I need to get my mind right and push that shit out.

You're a thick dude, more inspiration for me to bring up my own deadlift. Keep kicking ass.

Great form and strength big guy. Remember, you will always lift more in a gym than at home because of the surroundings. Adding another 25-50lbs to your lift seems very feasible.

I also think if you got a nice powerlifting belt that you could handle more weight. That belt you were wearing doesnt offer a whole lotta support.

Looks like an Inzer lever belt to me are you saying those are bad? I was actually planning on getting one myself.

Haha yea I was a little light headed. Guess that means I was training hard huh? Or maybe just straining hard haha

straps? gay. lol

j/k nice pullin bro

Haha well in strongman you are usually allowed to use straps on deads. Also I can use a double-overhand creating even back development! ;)

Plus I have small THICK hands, so grip is a big issue haha

**broken link removed**
Check out these paws! Haha my friends say they look like the Hamburger Helper glove haha

ok..........i really really hate to do it to you

but..........your form on those deads was horrific
your straight legged after 2 inches off the floor

bad form ALL around....grip width, foot width, back angle, hip depth

i'm sorry

:(

i can see that your strong though
work on the form

It's cool bro! For some reason I have always done them somewhat straight-legged. I have even worked with some powerlifters on it and I just can't seem to get my butt down.

As far as grip and feet wide, I compete in strongman not powerlifting. So there are no rules regarding that, you can hitch, jerk, do whatever as long as you get it up

i understand.......but with "a more correct" technique
you could be handling alot more weight

rules or not.....form is form anyway you look at it

:)
