A friend of mine who lives in Bangkok, has bumped into Gary a number of times at the local gym. He says Gary is very easy to approach and really a nice, down to earth guy!

And he really does look that good in person...always lean and full.

That is pretty bad

yes if anything could be said "negative" about gary it would be he had a genetically weak back -and "flat biceps" in the front double b he got destroyed most of the time.
even at 260 his back lags behind the chest delts and legs although it was much improved
front double at 0:59, and brief back shots at 1:15

He never would have beat Haney even in the WBF shape as Haney was Weider's 1980's era Arnold and the chosen one and they always used the back as a standard.
Would have loved to see Gary compete at the 1991 O against Haney and Dorian.

photo looks exactly like he did in 2006 colorado pro...like a pose from that contest,
theres a video online of him in india in 2014 this year ,he looks good,but he looks much older its with him ronnie and jay..anyone can google it..
obviously he is still taking real test..looks great,but looks like he is 50 plus
so either he has taken an immense amount of aas recently
and somehow lost 8 years off his age..or picture is touched up
