Advice on fat loss....been a long time

This may be a pretty basic question but how do I go about leaning up a bit? Im currenly 260 20% BF wanna get down to about 12-14%. Im into powerlifting/strongman so I dont really care if im ripped but I do wanna get leaner than I am now for health/endurance reasons.
Thing is Ive been bulking slowly for so damn long, something on the order of 2 years, that Ive lost the feel for how to trim down. I still remember the baiscs cardio, low carbs, right? Im not sure of the details though. Like I said Im not looking to do a show or anything so id like to do this slowly with as little muscle loss as possible and also keep my carbs and total calories as high as possible to fuel my workouts. Any advice would really be appreciated!
 
I'm sure you probably already know what to do, sometimes the memory slips though after a long time.

Basically, just stick with lots of fish, lean beef, chicken, vegetables, and good carb sources like yams, brown rice, whole grains, etc.

What I usually do when I'm trying to lean up is limit my carb meals to twice per day. Once for breakfast and then again post workout. Those are the ONLY two carb meals. The other meals are all grilled fish or other meats and a big hunk of some kind of raw vegetable, or just some whey protein. I have found that grilled salmon is pretty awesome shit for dieting. The fats in it make the skin look so nice, plus the effect on metabolism is damn good too, so I eat A LOT of that.

As for the cardio, when I first start, I only do 20 min 3 times per week. Once the results start slowing down, I bump it up to 30 min 3 times per week and just keep increasing it as necessary from there. After a couple of months I usually end up doing cardio about 4-5 days per week for 30 min. Being a natural ectomorph, too much cardio shrivels me up, so depending on your body type, you'll have to figure that out yourself. Just start low and see how your results are after a couple of weeks, if you aren't losing, increase it.

I think leaning up is a pretty big learning experience. It's one of those things that you really have to learn to fine tune for yourself after you have a good grasp of the basics.
