Anavar?

A friend of mine is considering taking some anavar that he got as leftovers from a friend. This would be his first cycle, and he asked for my advice. What dosages should he be taking and what should he stack with? Also, PCT?

30-40mg/day will give you some pretty decent results not like with injectables or stronger orals...if youre not looking to be the next mr.O then its a nice easy cycle you will need some light PCT at least a box of clomid or nolva...alex

Never noticed any sides even at 60mg day for 10wks. Please explain your sides.

I'm talking about sides that you can feel. I always try new steroids solo to see what they do by themselves. I noticed a negative effect on mood, reduced drive and "aggression" which is to be expected since it's a low androgenic steroid and also actually very supressive of the HPTA. Also had dramatically reduced libido, this effect was pretty much immediate. Having read around the boards it seems reduced libido is very common side effect from Var. Tried to add 100mg of Proviron and it did nothing to restore libido. It also made me very lethargic, a bit worse than Drol in this aspect. Appetite was down also.
Oh and I used 50mg at first, then increased to 80mg and a few days at 100mg. I know these are high dosages but I wanted to get a feel of what it does quickly.

Lots of sides to say the least, not a 'feel good' steroid at all IME The upside was the nice strength increase despite no weight gain.
