Anybody played Killzone 2?

just bought the ps3 to go w my new plasma and was deciding what game to buy and remembered this thread. you guys were right, killzone 2 is probably one of my favorite games ever. right behind geometry wars on the 360 .

i love the kill zone 2 only complaints are unussually hard to kill and everyone else online is better than me. modern warfare II all the way

Im not huge into the shooter games so I need a little advice....My wifes 14 year old son has PS3 and loves these types of games. He has Modern Warfare II and just finished the game...The question is WHAT NEW GAMES LIKE THIS CAN I GET HIM FOR XMAS? Any tips you guys can give me would be greatly appreciated!

modern warfare II was the big shooter that came out this year. assassin's creed 2 is also out, but it's not very similar to MWII. i'm also a tekken fan and tekken 6 came out, but that's a fighting game, not a shooter.
