anyone adding protein powder to brownie mix

ok, i'm lazy, damn lazy, i know there are recipes out there. i want something simple, some simple cheap mix i could add protein powder to. my main concern is cost and speed. i could buy bars if i wanted to spend the $$, or do a healthy mix if i had the time...

My GF makes these Awesome Brownies. Oatmeal whey protein. Peanut butter,and Honey. Yummy!

Here you go.

2 cups peanut butter
2 cups of oatmeal
2 cups of whey Protein
2/3 cups honey

Combine peanut butter and honey in bowl. Microwave for couple mins. Until melted. Stir the oatmeal and protein quickly. Adding nuts is optional

Put in small 8x8 pan stick in fridge until hardens.

Enjoy!

I might try that. Still a little more work than I was hoping for, but I guess it would be better than premade bars health wise.

Do you cook the oatmeal first?

I was going to suggest something similar but Mrcat he said he didn't want to spend time in the kitchen!! JR-maybe you should bring some of these to States and let us sample them, Q needs to carb up on competition day!! :yeahthat:

I made something similar to that for states last year I think it was oatmeal natural peanut butter and almond butter waxy maize honey cinnamon something else damn I don't remember:banghead:

They taste great! I followed the recipe above. To make it as clean-up easy as possible...

8X8 pan ... put in the 2 cups protein and oats, mix

18 oz peanut butter in the jar (if you measure it, you will have a messy measure cup to clean) in microwave (be sure to remove all the foil seal it can burn) watch for me at 1:30 it started to deform, quick took it out and poured in the pan mixed (18 oz is slightly over 2 cups)

while mixing 12 oz jar honey in micro 30 sec.

mix all

in the end had one dirty mixer and one pan.. great outcome...

took total under 5 minutes. trust me, if someone as lazy as me can pull it off, anyone can....
