Best protein for ice cream

Never made Ice cream with it but MRE lite peanut butter is awsome. Stuff mixes easier than any I have ever used and tastes great.
 
My wife bought me the Ninja icecream maker as a gift because I mentioned wanting to make healthy ice cream. I only consume isopure for my shakes so I started there with strawberry, it was decent but lacking. Then I tried dymatize iso / fruity pebbles flavor. If you were once a kid, or adult, that drank the milk left over from a bowl of fruity pebbles and though it was delicuous, well now you can have that in an ice cream. I love the taste and it's been my recent go to when craving something sweet.

I have a Creami and eat a half pint to a pint every night before bed. It’s freakin amazing. But I am now starting to think using whey protein is simply a waste of protein. It’s been a while since I researched but I’m pretty sure the consensus still is that whey protein powder becomes denatured 4 hours after reconstituting with liquid. So by the time the ice cream is frozen the whey is totally pointless. So I’m thinking casein is the only way.

I’d love to hear some informed thoughts on that though.
 
Ninja Creami is only way to go! Wife and I are lazy though, so we use the Fairlife 42g Bottles of Protein and then just add some M&M’s, toppings, etc., if we want.

There is a brand called Nick’s that comes in Pints we’ve bought from Publix that has 15-20g of protein and only like 400 calories for the whole pint, if you want something fast.
 
I think there's a reason why there are so many lightly used Ninja Creami's on eBay. It's fun the first few times but after that *meh*

You can add as much protein powder as you'd like to sugar-free Jell-o pudding and it's much easier.

I searched Google several times for this. Here's the summary:
Its best to consume a whey protein shake shortly after mixing. If it needs to be stored, refrigerating it can help maintain its quality for a longer period (up to 72 hours). If it's left at room temperature for an extended time (beyond a few hours), it's advisable to check for any signs of spoilage like off smells or tastes before consuming. (Freeze ice cream)
 
I'm old school when it comes to ice cream flavors....vanilla for sure....I go for strawberry as well.

It's corny but Optimum Nutrition's "Vanilla Ice Cream" protein is fantastic and my go to. Chocolate is good too. I also got some Nutter Butter (Ghost) and Fruity Pebbles (Dymatize) flavors. My go to, so far, is that ON Vanilla Ice Cream though.
