I do believe Dr. Scott Stevenson (homonunculus) is of a higher caliber in exercise science. Highly recommended reading some of his postings and articles he's written.
I'm sure there are other's. Scott's the only one to come to mind ATM.
I have a Kinesiology/exercise science degree and Biochem emphasis on bio minor( don't think i could even pass gen chem at this point lol). Also am certified with NSCA(cpt wise)

Working for someone else very true, out here in Colorado i have a few buddies around 24-27 years old killing it over 6 figures with there own business . But working at a chain is like 15 bucks an hour.. fuck that.
I have an ex phys degree which got me into the medical field. Ex phys is a degree with no job to attain with the degree... Its a waste. the NSCA is kind of a crock as well. Imo

I was in a masters program for that and it was pretty intense and mostly aimed at going on to earn your PHD. The college did have a masters program that was only one year long and then the graduates go on to become cardiac rehab specialists at hospitals. It seemed like 100% of those people found jobs fairly fast.

Almost burst in to laughter the other day at the gym. Was going to hit on a trainer/fitness competitor. I told her I was going get back in shape etc.(still above athletic shape) she actually try to sell me training, boosted her degree and that working outside of gym was not consistent. She also recommend I shouldn't tell anyone I use to be trainer. (I'm a business owner/master in engineering) Haha no more stair stepper for me. Got off with a big smile.
