beef protein (not lba's) versus whey

What do you guys use. I need a powder protein for during the day when I can't get a meal in.

I am contemplating between a beef protein isolate, and a 50/50 mix of egg white protein and whey protein. **this is not for post workout.



(and I apalogize for the almost double post. i put something like this in the beginers thred, but realized nobody ever goes in there, and I would rather the advice of someone other then a beginer)
 
honestly......its all the same, aside from speed of digestion

alot of peeps get gasey from beef though

i personally like a whey iso and casin mix

It's not all the same. Look at the different amino acid profiles for beef iso, whey, casein, soy, etc. I personally use and like the beef iso/cold filtered whey iso mix when I bulk.

dante put it best: when it comes to building muscle, what would you rather eat, a steak or drink milk? the answer to this will determine if you want to give the beef protein powder a shot.

yes i got digestion issues from beef iso. i prefer whey iso or casein.

So you informing members on this board with info that isn't accurate is ok? C'mon man, whey iso and beef iso are not the same and you know it. Beef is superior to milk for bulking, and to say that they are the same is ridiculous.

the break down is relatively the SAME

beef protein from powder or steak is better for gaining lean tissue no questions... people who say otherwise most likely have a motive..or need to read some more:D

Bingo!
The beef isolate puts me in some severe gastrointestinal distress.
LBA's do this too, but for a different reason I think (glycerol).
 
I think the beef protein isolate and LBAs are both the same. Only one is powder and one is liquid suspension.
