hey bros
I cant seem to get my calves to grow. Everytime I work them they are never sore.What do you guys recommend.

Calfs are a tough one!

Try doggcrapp's routine for calves. That seemed to get mine going again.

My calves get wickedly sore after each 5 set workout. It sounds like your's are stubborn, so they deserve to be punished. Try streching at the bottem of the movement and a two second flex and hold at the top. I hope something works for ya, good luck, Q.

I have to train calves with as much weight as possible for me this is the only thing that works..I usually do 2 sets on Mondays and Fridays

Mine are stubborn and small! Ive been doing them 3x a week for the last 6mo+ and it has made a difference. They come out OK, but I dont have that 'genetic' thickness when viewed from the front. Cant do anything but keep trying!

The BEST exercise!!!

Wylde actually tought me this one. YOu go to a Leg Press machine and lay w/ you belly on the back pad so opposite how you would for presses. Place your feet so that you toes are hanging off bottom of pad. Then do Calf raises that way. It KILLS your calves. Calves respond to heavy weight and higher reps and high intensity.

ive tried this , but dont seem to get a very good range of motion on this bro , do u ??

Depends on the Leg Press Machine. I put the back board on the lowest setting.
