Coming off Anxiety Med - Prozac

That is surprising, what is the process for being diagnosed with IBS? Are they actually scanning people, tests, or just going on if the person says they don't digest well and have problems? I feel like big Pharma and research are tied hand and hand, profit runs the show.

Essentially, they perform an edoscopy, a colonoscopy, mri, etc and if they can’t find a physiological explanation for what you have….they say you have ibs. Ssri like amitryptyline and Prozac are front line drugs prescribed for treatment

I started Bupropion a while back for anxiety but I don't feel like it does a lot at 30mg

"They" always warn of anxiety from bupropion as common side effect. Doesn't mean it will cause anxiety but it's on the "speedier" side of anti-ds. Maybe a year ago I finnally was precribed bupropinion for all constantly down mood. I can really feel the dopamine increase and was pleasebtly surprised. But maybe you meant something else as you said 30mg? The range is 300-450mg.

It's also somewhat prosecual, often added to an anti-d stack just for that purpose.

Someone I have known from school, very feminine, weak, odd guy. All of a studen he just turned into a man, became more masculine, changed his look, his personality was different. I finally asked him if he was juicing because he was noticeably more fit and he said he ditched those "beta boy meds" he'd been on them forever and just began to look and feel different. I may try something else and see if it helps, it may have helped a small amount but not a lot.

Honestly that’s exactly how I feel. My body composition strength vascularity over awfulness has completely changed since stopping the Prozac. I’ve read that these kind of medicines fuck with your liver and don’t allow you to process foods correctly as well. My stomach issue is slowly getting better as the longer I am off Prozac

Magnesium 600-800mg spread throughout the day
L-tyrosine or 5 htp depending on if it’s dopamine or serotonin issue

have you looked into hypnotherapy? for a long time ive had been dealing with stress and anxiety and it would make me lash out, i couldnt relax the war inside my head and enjoy life. my gf at the time urged me to get on meds. shes on zoloft and still has terrible anxiety and depression. i always told her no, and i dont want to have to be dependent on a drug (but here i am dependent on test now haha). so ive always wanted to find a way to fix it myself and then i remembered hypnotherapy.. ive done it when i was a teenager and it worked!! unbelievably well also. it all came back whenever i started fucking with aas especially tren. dont use tren anymore. but my gf at the time noticed a night and day difference and so did i. the hypnotherapist gave me a cd and i downloaded it on my email and would listen to it on my phone every morning when i woke up and i felt brand new. 21 mornings straight of listening to it and i didnt need to listen to it anymore.

for IBS i've never seen an SSRI prescribed, any specific one you referring to?

So far it’s been 13 days since I have been off Prozac and my body looks quite a bit different. Stomach distention has gone down a bit but will need a full 8 weeks off Prozac to see if this is the reason. Love the fact my strength is so high and pumps are so much better now.

Will keep you all updated
