I have been practicing sort of a carb cycling diet throughout the year as of late. Essentially on low carb days having carbs + protein in morning, pre and post workout meals and carbs and fats in the other meals. Of course there are high carb days as well. Now my question is in regards to using protein + carbs or protein + fat meals. I have always thought one should not combine excessive fats with carbs in individual meals, but have been reading differing views as of late. Could someone shed some light on this issue?
