Assuming that this is factual and I have no reason to believe that it isnt, in the Dec. issue of Muscular Development there is an interesting article on counterfeit gear. Oral, injectables, HGH, and ancilleries were all tested from various suppliers. Sources arent revealed but one can safely assume the gear was gathered from internet suppliers. Its scary to think that this is what you are up against when trying to obtain legit goods. Of the 57 drugs obtained the results were as follows............................

Orals 27% counterfeit

Injectables 45% counterfeit

HGH 80% counterfeit

Anti-estrogen none

This study was brought on because of the increase in injection site abscesses being reported in the U.K.

The study was conducted by two reputable firms in the U.K. to determine why so many athletes are getting abscesses. Look at this board and you will find many posts of kids wanting to know why the inject site is red and swollen or why they are getting nothing off of their cycle. This study used BRAND NAME GEAR such as Schering, Organon, and Ciba to name a few. It looks good on the outside of the box but do you really know whats on the inside? Those major brands supply legit gear and that is why the counterfeiters make packaging IDENTICAL to those used by legit companies. Its amazing how many people will deny the truth.

Alot of injection site sorness, redness etc comes from people not knowing what they are doing. usually not being sterile enough. As far as being swollen, I bet alot of the time they arent injecting deep enough. Im not saying that there isnt fakes out there because there is. But think about it, if they are such a health issue why didnt they post the sources?

Noone is denying the truth, the truth is these "kids" are taking fucking compounds when they have no idea what they do to begin with. Its a fucking risk we ALL take. I bet alot of these so called sources are some shit they found by googling.

WOW! Daddy Mac is pissed. Im trying to offer intelligent thinking as this forum was originally created for. Open discussion on legitimate BB issues. Abcsesses and injection site pain are worlds apart. This study was conducted to determine why there are so many ABSCESSES being reported. Bacteria, bunk gear, old outdated or heat damaged goods. You know, the stuff that can lead to serious health issues when left untreated. I respect you and your right to think as you see fit. Im not trying to change your thinking. Just offering food for thought from legitimate information sources. I tend to lean to the other side of the fence. Until someone proves that these kinds of issues are BS, I consider them legit. Most guys who are steady juicers "know" their source pretty well and have good results. Not very often a avid user will just go off on a limb and try someone new for price issues or whatnot.. With that being said im 100% sure there is alot of bunk stuff floating around, but youd have to be pretty dumb to fall for it. Name dropping would def clear all this up

If you shop around looking for the cheapest price you are gonna get what you pay for. This was a legit article and the study performed was legit. Human grade is one way to go or if you use UG labs, find a source, trust your source and stick with your source. Yes there is always going to be bunk gear out there. Filter, use sterilization methods, and be smart on injecting aas. Of course they are not going to give names of sources. They only do that once they are busted. I was recently doing some online research involving HGH when I found more than a few sites including manufacturers sites that stated that the amount of bogus HGH in circulation is reaching epidemic proportions. It only stands to reason with the high cost of HGH that this would be the counterfeit of choice with scammers. It was found after doing LEGITIMATE studies on the counterfeit product that some were selling HCG labeled as HGH. Very scary as the average joe has no idea what he buying and has no idea whats in the vial even when hes got it in his hand. I would imagine that HCG is used as it offers some testosterone stimulation effects and might sway the average Joe in to thinking he has the real deal and that average Joe may even come back for more.

HCG actually has no muscle building effects. It helps with the production of testosterone in the testes. Never heard of it building any kind of muscle at all.

Exactly. You know what Im getting at. It is commonly used and can be obtained easily at low cost. It has a use in BB. Just pour it into the vial, label it as HGH and sell it to the highest bidder. Im old school so Ive seen a few things in my days. I remember when British Dragon was getting hit so hard by the counterfeiters that they actually shut down production rather than try to fight it. I unfortunately got some of those bunk dbols that were going around. Open the little white bag and there is a ton of pink powder and the tabs were crumbly. This whole topic speaks volumes for getting a good doctor and getting on a legitimate hormone replacement therapy program.
