If you got bloat and if it looked like chalk is because you used garbage quality creatine.
SyntheCREATINE is micronised, gets disolved instantly in anything you put it in (can't even tell it's there), it's tasteless and it gives you no bloat.
This and ethyl ester are the only creatines that have ever worked for me.
The other old chalky stuff never gave me any results what to speak off, only diahrea.
