Creatnine count

I had my creatine count done months ago at 2.6 on a very small dose of TRT before a surgery. I was in pain so my intake of pain meds was killing my kidneys. I completely eliminated the meds after surgery after shoulder replacement surgery and started using foods and maybe a little bit of tylenol to bring down my pain levels.my Creatnine is now at 1.6 2 months after surgery. I have been around bodybuilding for 30 years and I just wanted to share. It seems like many guys from my generation skipped the medicals and between the massive food intake, supplements, intense protocols and pain meds have taking its toll on us. be careful folks.

2.6 is bad what did the doctors say? 1.6 is much better glad you got it down, but still a bit higher than I'd feel comfortable. What is your bodyweight? Plan to get it tested again? I would definitely stay hydrated maybe look into vitamin shoppe brand astragalus too.

Im around 290. Im neurotic about my blood work and ekgs/sonograms on my organs.I do blood work every 3-4 months. Everything else is pretty damn good. That high level of creatnine was at 2 to 2.6 for years. I finally got my shoulder replaced so Im pain free for the first time in about 6 years. Im doing another blood screen in about 6 weeks. Im very lucky the sonograms came back with no real permanent damage.

I'd say 1.6 at your weight then isn't too far off. If you were 180 that would be pretty high. So it looks like they did do more testing sonogram 24 hour urine collection? If so that definitely should give you some peace of mind. I know when my creatinine got close to 2 one summer when I was dehydrated the 24 hour urine test and nuclear scan came back fine.

What's your Cystatin C?

They didn't do a Cystatin C.. They did a gfr and that was at 47. The only other negative thing was higher protein in my urine. Everything else is great, especially blood pressure. fluctuates between 115-128 over 65-78. Getting my shoulder replaced has made my life virtually pain free. Im in my 40s so I definitely count my blessings.
