Cycle for football season

I'm not sure if this is in the right area.

I'm going to be playing football this summer. I'm in my early 30s and haven't played in 5 years. I'm still in great shape, but I'd like to get my strength and speed up. I ran about 5 cycles (10 wk Test C @ 500 (also used Sust) w/ Eq@ 400 sometimes with Var or Winny) over the last 5 years, but never while playing football. So here is my question:

If I cycle now during the off season strength training I'll have to cycle off just about when spring training starts and run my PCT and wont have the "on" feeling during the season. But I want to be at my best for spring training to secure a starting position. I feel like I should be "on" during the season, right?

I was thinking running a 14 week (as long as the season) of EQ at 400mg/wk with a little Test and use Var for a kickstart during spring training.

Any suggestions or advice?
 
Is your league tested? If you go on now can you pass a piss test?
 
They do not test.

I also forgot to mention I'm looking for speed and strength, not size.

Probably around 250 to 300 mg/week.

I think 250 to 300mg's will help alot with your recovery and help keep you from overtraining as easily. As far as speed and strength is concerned. Thats all about your training style. If you train for explosive strength and speed that is what you will get. Also the gaining size is also relative to your specific training and diet. Just by running some juice you aren't going to blow up like Dorian, unless your creating the right environment for that to take place.

Also coming off during the start of the season, your not gonna look as good as you did when you were becoming a starter, unless your natty levels bounce back quick.

Decreased test= decrease in drive, aggression, mental focus, and stamina. Just food for thought.

This is exactly why I want to be on the Test/Eq during the season. I am on a strenghth / explosive training program right now doing box squats, deadlifts, cleans, etc... I would love to cycle now during my off season training, but then wouldn't want to continue to cycle straight through the season.

What can I use now as a supplement to help with strength and recovery, but won't effect test levels? I'm taking creatine, it's not even close Test. Haha.

Also how long can I run the Eq? I've read that Eq can be run for up to 20 weeks, but that seems excessive to me with the increased red blood cells.

Donate blood to help reduce RBC's from the eq. And its all relative, stay on go off. Whatever you feel would be most benificial. Its your life man. Gotta live it.

Length of time on vs time off has been debated many times. Lots of guys stay on year around and monitor there health(avoid a pct crash). Others cycle and let there natty levels kick back in. Its all debateable. Sorry i couldn't give you a better direction to go.
 
Thanks Gordo. I'm looking for some personal experience advice. I've never ran test longer than 10 weeks, but mostly at 500 mg/ week. I want to be "on" during the seasons as stated above. Is it okay if I run 250 mg / week of Test Cyp for 16 - 18 weeks, or am I going to cause more issues with Trying to restore natty test production after? 18 weeks will take Me from beginning practices through the end of season, but again Ive never run any AAS that long. I wonder how the NFL and other pros do it. Do they stay on during winter power programs, spring training and the entire season? That means they are pretty much "on" all year long. But I guess for $10-$20 MIL I'd do it too.

Could I run any other AAS other than Test, say EQ, which I've heard can or should be run at least15 weeks. I've used EQ before and loved it but never ran it alone.
