I am thankful for the sacrifices our veterans have made for this country.

Tomorrow is Veterans Day. At our school were are having kids bring in relatives who are Veterans to lunch at our school to honor them.

Jethro, thanks for your concern and concern for our American Vets. We have men and women dying everyday for our freedom, all I wanted to do was express my "thanks" for all they have done for us. So I would still like for the Mod to PM me. Thanks

If they deleted it it would probably be because they want people to utilize discussworldissues.com instead, but I'm just guessing, I know it was the Marines birthday the other day.

This post simply belongs in Discussworldissues.com.

This kind of thing has a long history here of devolving into ridiculous and nasty exchanges between members.

DAD, it's a shame that it was deleted. Only because I am sure we could have all gotten behind a good thread such as this. HOWEVER, people are people and have their own opinions on war and many other issues of this world. I am sure it would have been a great thread, but you never know. So STUMP, don't take it personal but some bleeding heart blah blah blah will have turned this around quickly and so that's why DAD had the insight to move it.

Stump and I have had a very cordial exchnge over this - Stump, I appreciate yuor straight-forward and very civil manner.

I actaully agreed wholeheartedly with yuor veiws, it's just that these things have had such a history of going south fast.
