DID THESE GUYS REALLY QUALIFY??

im back gents....once again the idiot at my gym who walks around with the T-shirts sized for 2-4yr olds has given more material to bring to you.

this ass did a show in new jersey a month ago which was billed as a national qualifier. follow me here closely....he looks like shit the day of the show like any other day, he enters the novice superheavies and the open superheavies. there is no one in the novice superheavies and when asked by the show promoters if he would like to be judged with the heavies(group of 10guys) since he has no one to compete against he declines and requests his first place novice trophy. of course in the posedown for the overall novice the dam lighweight wins and this chump complains he was robbed. we move to the superheavies open where he is on stage with one other competitor...thats it...one guy to beat to be number one. he couldnt even beat that guy. he takes second place. then he tells me at least he qualified for jr. nationals since he took second.

i was under the assumption for the qualification to count there had to be at least 5 guys in your weight class in the open division. whether im right or wrong i told this idiot he hasnt accomplished anything and he needs to do a show with some people on stage so he can see if he actually deserves to make that trip to the jr's or not. nope...he says " im qualified". am i the only one who knows someone like this who THINKS they qualified for nationals with their shitty physique??

Yeah, he's qualified if he came in the top 2 of the open class in a NQ. Don't have to have a certain # of competitors in the lineup. It could be 1 competitor and that 1 will qualify. If it's a full blown NQ he qualifies for all National shows not just Jr's. Some shows that aren't NQ's will allow the overall to qualify for the Jr's shows only.

Not to worry bro, sounds like this chumps gonna get smoked the minute any real competition shows up - and that humiliation might just be enough to ice his nerves about competing.... nah, he sounds like a knucklehead, fools like that never learn.
