Diet Question for Experienced Guys/Girls???

I am currently following a bulking style diet and have not missed a meal in almost 6 months, consistently getting in 400 grams of protein and a minimum of 4000 calories per day. Lately, however, I feel like I am starting to hit a mental wall. Don't get me wrong I enjoy the gains and have put on 20 lbs (205-227) since July but when it comes time to eat again I find myself resisting and really have to force myself to make it happen. If I look at another steak I feel like I might go crazy,lol. My question is, have any of you all ever experienced this and if so, what kinds of things helped you to overcome it and get your will to eat fired up again? Thank you.:)
 
Do a whole day of juice fasting, also search "colon cleansing" and "colonics".
 
give yourself a little break man. its awesome that you have stayed so committed to your diet, but jeez, let yourself be human as well. unless you really have the potential to make it big in this sport my personal opinion is you should eat healthy and ENJOY what you are doing. if you are not enjoying yourself then change something my brotha.
 
live a "normal" life for 2 weeks, take a colon cleanser and some digestive enzymes and go back to ur diet / training

u should be more focused than previously

even if u drop a few pounds bro, it'll come back in a few days after u'll be back to bulking diet

we are human and our bodys/minds need a break from time to time :) :) :)

I do this myself and many do this too here

You need some cheat meals go enjoy your self, and a break as well. Also think of new ways to cook your protein or change sources. You dont have to have steak with every meal
 
I'm no help as I can never eat freely or I gain too much fat even if I am going balls to the wall training.

eating like that becomes boring an old fast. you need to find other ways to flavor and or prepare your food to make it exciting to eat.

Mike is correct. Even when cvontest dieting ,ost of us will have a day to relax things. Might be one day out of 5 weeks but most will do this. On your rlaxed day if you do not want toeat 6 meals, then don't. Your body is not going to magically devour all of your gains. It's not like you will eat nothing for the entire day! Just do what you feel like. Do this every couple of weeks while bulking. it will help your progress and keep yoru sanity.
 
Thanks to all for your replies. I took everyone's advice and chilled out on the diet for a few days. What a difference! I feel much better! I took a few days and just ate whatever I wanted, and did not train during this time either. Saturday I only ate two large meals and amazingly did not disintegrate into nothing! I flattened out a little, but actually maintained my weight quite easily. I have always been ectomorphic(I weighed about 150lbs. at 6' tall in my teens) and thus afraid of shrinking lol but at least now I know I can relax a little now and then and not lose hard-earned muscle. When I came back to training Mon, I actually GAINED strength from my previous lifts. I will make sure I do this from now on every couple months it definitely is psychologically easier after doing this to jump right back on the diet feeling refreshed. Thanks again for the help.:)

Bingo! Take a cruise period....do tons of cardio, cut carbs for like 3 days... youl be DIEING to eat again very quickly.....
