Doctor said i have heart problems

i'm not on any medications. are there drugs i should be taking for this?

That will be up to your Dr. ACE inhibitors, ARB's, diuretics, Beta Blockers etc. up to your Cardiologist... Have you received a referral from your Dr. yet, or is he planning on treating you for the time being?

CoQ 10 or Ubiquinol as suggested by maldorf would be a good start.

TRT @ therapeutic doses/ range within normal limits, shouldn't be a problem, ultimately up to you and your Dr. though. It's not the testosterone that can kill you it's the supraphysiological levels of test long term that leads to health problems...

This was caught early. Time for a reevaluation of goals I would say. Go for lean and ripped now :) you can still be fit, healthy, strong, and probably better off in the end longevity wise with a few changes now...

yes i know.. its inevitable i need to stop.

how difficult was it for you to continue bodybuilding without hormones?

Well, frankly I was not able to overcome using them and went back on steroids after I recovered from the cardiomyopathy and then had my heart attack about 6 yrs later.

Its not easy, but it can be done. If you do not, there is a possibility that you will ruin your heart for life like I did.

he didn't discuss treament really. he just strongly suggested i stop using steroids and wants me to get a chest xray. i'll get the xray and then see what he says on my next visit.

i will look for a specialist though. should i tell a specialist about my usage? would this be a problem with insurance?

also, i have a question.. my total test was around 1100. free test 353. he said free test being so high can cause health problems. how can you keep free test within range? by lowering dose?

Lower your dose to 80mgs a wk of test. That should keep you in normal limits

the guy is 28 if he just stops taking everything he will be normal in a few weeks.

X-ray isn't going to show shit you need to see, I had a scare a few years back - left arm went numb, chest pain - got dressed for work and ended up driving to the ER...don't remember the tests I had but x-ray was not one of them...guarantee he will say we didn't see anything on the X-ray, now go get this test - after someone bills ur insurance 2000$ for the X-ray instead if just ordering the correct test to begin with. Any whose man I will say a prayer for you brotha!!

What is your medical background to make such assumptions? Dont give medical advice to someone without having some knowledge. Going to the ED once does not suffice.
Chest xray is a national standard procedure for most all chest pain in the ED. I work in the ED as an RN...
Also a scheduled chest xray will be much cheaper than a CXR in the ED.

It will surely show if the chest cavity is congested with fluids.

A chest X-ray is done to:

Help find the cause of common symptoms such as a cough, shortness of breath, or chest pain.
Find lung conditions-such as pneumonia, lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), collapsed lung (pneumothorax), or cystic fibrosis-and monitor treatment for these conditions.
Find some heart problems, such as an enlarged heart, heart failure, and problems causing fluid in the lungs (pulmonary edema), and to monitor treatment for these conditions.
Look for problems from a chest injury, such as rib fractures or lung damage.
Find foreign objects, such as coins or other small pieces of metal, in the tube to the stomach (esophagus), the airway, or the lungs. A chest X-ray may not be able to see food, nuts, or wood fibers. See an X-ray of a coin in the esophagus

is it safe to assume that is abnormal?

Put it this way, a guy on another popular board tested some of our products. He had a full panel done by Envizion Medical and posted the results. His test levels were 7048.2.

309 is more than a woman at least...

i have been having breathing problems for years now. if this is the cause of it, then its been like this for at least 3 years... it doesn't make sense though because i started taking higher doses and staying on AAS and gh year-round about 2 years ago. 3 or more years ago, i don't think i was using enough to cause this kind of damage, but who knows.

this guy was obviously taking a large dose of test.. that doesn't mean that 7000 is normal. its far from it.

thanks for using my thread about my heart problems to promote your products though. you've been very helpful.

Again, listen to your Dr.... TRT within normal limits should in practice not be a problem for you after all you are male, normal test levels are not lethal for the most part otherwise we wouldn't make it past 18 :)

Chest x-ray is standard for any cardiac/respiratory/thoracic condition.. Provides a baseline, identifies abnormalities to structure/size etc...

Unless u make a living doing this quit everything for a while and let nature take its course.

The problem is there are no sources with injectable curcumin. ergo had it for a few weeks but hasn't carried it in months.

Is the Life Extension brand really worth it if it's only in pill form? If you say yes, I will buy it right now.
