Does Pramipexole offer any permanent changes?

SUCH AS

Do your prolactin levels stay suppressed, or perhaps return to the natural balance as you were before where ever the prolactin came from?

Is deca dick pretty much reversed?!

Or any other changes, for the better or worse?

Just wondering, If I've missed out on a thread a link would be helpful...

Ok so I somewhat found an answer to my own question

"Therapy should be continued for approximately 12-24 months (depending on the degree of symptoms or tumor size) and then withdrawn if prolactin levels have returned to the normal range. After withdrawal, approximately one sixth of patients maintain normal prolactin levels."

soo the answer is .167 chance of maintaining normal after long therapy

Right, MAYBE you'll get normal levels for life. I think that 1 in 6 is on the high side and ridiculously high for steroid users. Once you return your body to the environment it was in when you started it's only a matter of time before everything goes back to the way it was in your endocrine system.

actually, with AI and prolactin suppression one can cause apoptosis of pituitary lactrophs. Which (may take a while) but can cause "permanent" lowering of prolactin.

Permanent is in quotations because nothing is really permanent, you could take a lot of 5ht drugs and estrogens and induce new growth of lactotrophs. but it would take a lot more after regression than it would before. as an example....just like fat loss, muscle gains, etc.. these can be relatively permanent but they are not forever when you can stop working out and over eat.

additional note- this is why letting estrogen "run wild" or even just coasting the edge (using just enough AI to keep gyno "in check") can be additionally problematic. Aside from the adipogenic and gyno substructure development issues that even "coasting the edge" presents.
