evidence eliminator NO GOOD?

i thought evidence eliminator was the best thing to use to clean up your pc, but surfing around i found a bunch of sites that bash it saying its crap and doesnt give you the protection you might think. one site www.radsoft.com shows some good points in their argument against it. they sell their own software to clean your pc so at first i thought theyre just bashing the competiton but after reading their site more and seeing other sites against evid. elim. what they say makes sense.
is there a better pc cleaning up kind of program out there?

Even formatting your harddisk will not delete everything.
The only safe way is to remove the harddisk from the pc and install
a new one.

Ive replaced my hard drive before, but its not something to do often.

every bit of data created on you hard drive leaves an imprint of itself on the disk on a microscopic level. Deleting it will remove the file but not its imprint and any software that claims it can remove the imprint completely is outright lying. If the FBI wants the data on your hard drive, they WILL get it, thats what they get paid the big bucks for. Even burning the hard drive will not completely remove the data since it can be deciphered though microanaylsis. The only sure fire method for deleting the data completely is to apply a very powerful magnet directly to the disks (the hard drive would have to be disassembled). A device to do this is available but its very expensive. It really comes down to a good source and descrete packing so cleaning your hard drive is not necessary.

Evidence Eliminator is no good

I downloaded it and it whiped out my windows programs. When I tried to update, it said I lost the data on the registry keys. I had to download all of windows again. Real crappy process. Find something else. Aaron
