After a long battle with my calves I finally did enough research to present to my doctor what needed to be done to help me..
Little history behind my prior condition:
for the better part of a decade I had painful swelled bi-later lumps on my outer calve muscles that in conjunction with a piss poor diet and a crap relationship lead me to become overweight.
I could not do cardio for any length of time before the burn would literally bring me to tears!
For years my doctors had no Idea what was going on until I figured it out thanks to good old google.
Diagnosis: Superficial peroneal nerve entrapment!
Fix: fasciotomy
So last winter they slit the facia to relieve the entrapment that was rubbing my skin and causing the burn great rite. Well now I am medicated for my low test issues and back in the gym woot woot.
One small problem: Now that the facia is relieved my outer calves are noticeable deformed do any of you think that using an ace bandage to wrap it could I don't know train the muscle to retain its shape or am I to just suck it up?
