Atlantic Gym, Baliuag, Bulacan, Philippines - Great gym with all the basic, old school equipment you need. No air conditioning and dig this - no fans either! This place made Metroflex in Texas in summertime seem cool inside haha. Within 30 mins your clothes were entirely soaked - underwear, socks, all. I always took a quart of Gatorade with me to keep from passing out. I remember on several occasions I was the only one in there - heat index regularly 130F+ during the hottest season. Filipina working the desk would say "loko Kano" (crazy American) haha.
Wolfgangs Gym, Richmond, VA - It was a sad day when they closed down several years back. Hard core gym back in the day with tons of equipment. Curtis Bryant (IFBB pro, competed back when it was 202 div) worked out there. Cool AF guy - I remember seeing him reverse grip bench press 405 x 12 when hitting tri's. Guy was strong af for his size (5'7, 230ish). A lot of pro wrestlers would stop in there when in town. I remember seeing Warlord once - biggest mofo I ever seen IRL.
