i gave these a try on back day this week insted of regular barbell and have to say thank you moutaindog! great lat work out and feel good......I have not felt this sore in the lats for a while!

over hand smith rows - Smith Machine Bent Over Rows.MPG - YouTubeI prefer these over standard barbell rows. On these you can really focus on driving your elbows up and letting your arms serve as "attachments". That is very hard to do on a standard barbell row unless you use extremely light weight. Driving your elbows up through this fixed plane is awesome for pounding your lats....

Yes , I love them . I was doing them for a while till I had to drop them from my rotation. they feel safer on my lower back as well.
did Pendlay rows the other day , but still love my smith.

John comes up with some great stuff! I think recently I saw a vid of bent over camber bar rows.

I think he was the head torture chamber inventor, in charge of coming up with new ways to increase pain.

no but this is a great idea when ur in a gym when dbells dont go up high enough!!!!!!!! thnk you AUSSSSSBULLLLL
