Guys,

I need your advice. I have a job interview in two weeks. Very important one that could finally take me from the Abyss of the financial services industry over the past few years back to some semblance of a normal work situation.

Here's my deal. I tend to get flushed (turn red) sometimes. I know my shit, I'm smart and I'm articulate but when this happens it it makes me look like a tool. I don't know why it happens because I feel confident. I just can't afford for it to happen during this interview.

Is there any kind of med that could help? Maybe a releiver or something along those lines. I have some anti-anxiety stuff still kicking around from earlier this year. It was the kind that you take at night to sleep well.

Sorry for the OT kind of question but this is pretty heavy stuff for me. I need this job.

Hey Steve123

I have a couple thoughts on this. First the obvious stuff like being cool (body temp wise), a decent amount of cold water with a few table spoons of glycerin before the interview should help.

Another thing this may sound strange but I think it will help; Vicks Sinex 12 hour decongestant. This stuff has a powerful vaso-constrictor called Oxymetazoline. Obviously it has a localized affect, but it also works systemically. You may want to experiment, but 4-5 good blasts up each nostril should help with the flushing
