How far apart should you keep your legs? Also whats a good routine 2 do for you legs?

How far apart your legs are depends on what's comfortable to you. I stand with a narrow stance, slightly wider than 12 inches. That allows me to put alot of focus on my quads and get all the way down to the bottom. You'll have to play around with your stance to find what feels right for you though.

I've got a few leg workouts I could send you just let me know.

|--[\\\]>---------- If you really want focus on your quads, especially the outter sweep, than, feet close together, BUT it's hard to squat that way, naturally, you want to place your feet further apart to support all that weight on yoru back, so i would say, squat with your feet closer together WHILE doing FRONT squats. Squating reg. with feet to close puts a TON of stress on your knees. squating with your feet close together on front squats and having the weight in the front, allows it to go OVER/front of your knees taking the pressure off those knees.

FOot position matters too. As you widen up the stance, you spread the stress away from the knees. But still the quads are the primary mover. So to go a little wider uses the hips more but if you keep your toes pointed ahead-it will still work the Vastal lateras (outer sweep). To hit the Vastas Medius (tear drop) point toes out. The closer the stance the more on the quads. But, again, to go a bit wider still will affect the area greatly while taking some stree off the knees. Also, the farther your feet are on under you-the more knee stress. The more you have them in front the less on the knees, but the more the butt and hams work. So just move feet up and out SLIGHTLY to help relieve the knee stress. Find your own comfort zone.

do what feels comfortable

You can worry about foot position when you get the mechanics down, but the squat should feel natural as far as distance. I think people tend to overanalize it a bit. My routines tend to be psycotic, and its usually the people who cant do it are the ones who disagree with the way I lift, there many opinions, but I know what works for me..and thats heavy with high reps every other workout. I also split up quads and hamstrings about 4 days apart. I just think that if you can do hamstrings after quads that you did not work quads hard enough. It works for me so I'll stick with it. Try different things to see what works for you

|--[\\\]>------------ Ain't this the fucking truth! i can NEVER do hams after quads....i did quads tonite as a matter of fact...felt like i was going to explode...my head, my stomach! I did front squats for the 1st time in like 4 mths....i was surprised, did 3 plates and a 10 on each side for 6 reps and boy did i feel every bit of it in my quads!

Squatts

feet a foot apart , toes facing forward, head up . ass out , do not flare knees outward and think quads.

as for routine just keep consistently changing your movements , hacks, press, squatts, lunges , extensions.

thats it, goodluck.
