For those who DC train partner or alone

So i have been thinking for a while now that i would like to try DC training but he main reason i havent is i train alone and i may be wrong but it seems DC training would be a better training system for someone who has a training partner. Again i could be wrong so i wanted to know who trains DC and if they train alone if u felt it hindered your DC training at all.
 
I trained DC style alone for years.. it's fine as long as you have a variety of machines available or can at least set up so you don't need many spots.
 
do you do isolation moves at all or just compound? I see most info doesnt have things such as side laterals.
 
You will be able to do DC alone, you just need to be smart about exercise choices or have a good spotter available. I have had training partners but the majority of the time I've used it it's been alone.


Power rack with the safety pins set right for presses if you really want free weight moves there(still might want a spotter). I set up for close grips with the safety bars about an inch off my chest and stop just shy of it for reps and am not afraid to go for an extra rep because I know the bar won't crush my sternum haha.

Smith machine is great for training alone. If you fail at the bottom of a rep simply stand on the bench and dead lift the bar back to the top.

HS and other good machines are perfectly good and don't require a spot.
 
i train alone. the smith machine, and dumbbels are your friends.
 
There aren't really supposed to be any forced reps either way.
