i suppose, you guys will say every training work if you eat - train and rest but i wanted to know if someone tried giants sets and had it works o not ?

Have not really done it, but I have seen results from other people. Also I think Milos Sarcev practices giant sets with his clients...
 
I do giant sets with a few of my clients. I use them more like mini-circuit training than a "blast the hell outta one muscle group" crazy shit.
I had one of my more advanced trainee's doing the following this morning:
Front Squat/Overhead press combo X8 straight to
Pullups X8 straight to
Rear-delt Flyes X8
(Yeah, I know, technically this is a Tri-set)
Rest 60 sec & repeat.
Yup, he really wanted to puke and get it over with by the time we got to the next sequence...
 
When you say Giant sets i`m assuming you mean giant setting a single bodypart...Tom Platz comes to mind,i watched him train many times when i was in California in `79,and actually got to spot him on his leg day once!While he used mostly straight sets for everything else,he used to giant set his chest...sure worked for him.
 
I'm at the momment doing 1 muscle per day with a tri-set that I do 3 times and a giant-set I do 2 times.

I like it a lot. GIves me huge pumps. especially for biceps.

But as it was said it can get you into over training, so I'm just doing it for 4 weeks.
