the contest that i was going to enter this coming june was cancelled. i talk with the promoter and there seems to be a difference of opinion between the chairman of the district (who could care less of the show ) and the promoter who tries to make it the best show of all. politics still plays a role i see even down here. if you are in the click then you get what you want. but, if you ask quetions and rock the boat you are blackballed. not only does it hurt the area that you bring bussinees too but the atheletes too who work hard that year just for that contest.
i applaud clay spires,who put on the best show in the state yet who is ousted because of his standards(such as wanting the npc judges to show on time and stop this petty bitching). if this state does not want your well displayed show and talent then i too will boycott tenn npc shows and go to another state.
clay is not only a top national competitor but also a top promoter and just one hell of a nice guy.

i'll second that. The knox is the run show in the state. Clay has done a great job with them; Tom Prince this year, Mat Duvall last year. Hell it puts the state show to shame. I was looking forward to doing this show too. I guess we'll have to go to Georgia for the Seaboard, Atlanta, or GA state.
