How bout starting out at 6'2, throwing down basketballs,
then proceed into bodybuilding and get so big that you can no longer do anything relevant, including all the hassles of tying your shoes.

Most people go with Arnold simply because back then people (especially women) actually liked bodybuilders. As a matter of persona taste, I go with 6'2, sixteen stone, but that's not necessarily the best bodybuilding-freak.

Depends on the shape you consider in shape..lol..and I eat a lot of cookies but it would be nice to have an alpha male like concrete put them up too high to reach so I could see my abs again someday but until then I'll have to just have outlines ..

It all depends on what your definition or criteria for "Greatest" is.

If we're just talking the freakiest, most massive, with the most Olympias, then RC would probably win.

If considering bringing the popularity of bodybuilding more mainstream, accomplishments aside from bodybuilding, then Arnold wins hands down.

Or, if we are looking for the more aesthetically pleasing we could choose from a number of past bodybuilders. It all depends on what type of physique you most admire. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

"Greatest" is definitely too vague of a word... implies so many criteria. Title of the poll should have been "Who wouldn't you mind looking like?"

To me too, that pic of Flex Wheeler PitbullTank attached is simply the most perfect epitome of what an aesthetically pleasing physique is.

Otherwise, a taller version of Benfatto at his prime isn't too ugly either...

I agree. Tall but not too tall. I guess the fact Arnold was listed as 6ft 2 always stuck in my head. For bodybuilding I would say 5ft8 to 5ft10 is perfect.
