Gut Bloat?

Maybe some of you can help me. I am now at 256# and my bf was just measured at 7%.. However, it seems that over half the time my stomach looks bloated. It looks "strange" because of course you can see the abs also. I don't think its Roid Gut, but does anyone know what might cause this. I have heard high estrogens could but have no idea if it is true. I have been on Test E at ~800mg/week for about 9 months and also GH at 8iu's per day for about 6 months now.

Any suggestions will help. I get tired of having to hold it in when I am posing or just walking around.....

Try some good digestive enzymes. it may just be from all the food you eat and not breaking down quickly enough. Also make sure you are getting enough fibre in your diet to help keep things flowing along!

I have never tried them and protein drinks seem to bloat me and I stay bloated for a long time......I'll get some digestive enzymes this weekend and see what happens........

try some psyllium husk and some magnesium for a few days, chances are your colon is backed up and that is what is causing the distension, ive seen it tons of times befor.....

are you contsipated on a regualr basis?

are you eating a lot fo fiber?
 
I had the same problem mike, and mine's def not roid gut.
It did get worse when i upped my liquid meals and was uncomfortable.
As oldfella said i got digestive enzymes from H&B Good stuff does what it says on the tin.Much better now.

yeh, km2000, i'm constipated alot. I didn't know it would cause the gut to bloat though. I have oatmeal for breakfast, but other than that I don't really get too much fiber in. Lots of meat (chicken, lean lean beef) and carbs (rice, baked potatoes etc). very few veges..

Where do I get psyllium husk? regular health food store?

Hey MHP, contact Phil, he usually has a line on some good enzymes. I got some from him a while back and they are good!

Mine came from water retention and heavy food intake and GH.
It does go down, especially after doing what many of the suggestions were here plus maintaing good digestive health with acidophilis bromelain ginger root and fiber as well.

the psyllium you can get at any health food store, just ask for the whole psyllium husk. i would do a tbsp in 10oz od water 3x a day for a few days and i'll bet you money it wil take core of your problem....

if you constipated your not using nearly enuf of the nutrients your taking in... bbers are some of the stupidist when it comes to this. the 'ihave to cram thei food down 24/7' mentalitly is not wise.... your colon will be a breading ground for harmfull bacteria when your constapated.... plus you just plain feel like shit!

a warning, you will see some crazy shit come out of you if you havent used the psyllium husk befor!
 
Cracklin oat bran 1st thing in the mornin will have me emptying my insides out all day long...lol
 
I add a tablespoon of psyllium husks to my protein shake first thing in the am.

Make sure you drink plenty of water! This stuff absorbswater as it travels thru you system and it can dehydrate you or not work as well without water. I drink it with 24 oz of water.

If you don't have a health food store nearby Metemucil is at all drugstores
 
I have the exact same issue. I almost look pregnant after eating a meal, but I do go to the bathroom regularly - no constipation at all. These enzymes sound promising, thanks guys...
 
I have the same problem and I think I need to take in more water and fiber.

I do however have no problem going to the bathroom and tend to always have a loose stool. I know this isn't so good either. I go to the bathroom around 3+ times per day.
 
i had that problem as well

many people cannot digest when 1 meal contains both protein and carbs

protein remains undigested in the intestine for days

i solved the problem by not eating prot+carb meals.

also fruit + protein cause indigestion.
 
Get a Colonic - seriously

Find a holistic clinic in your area and get a colonic. usually advise several sessions however you'll notice your stomach flatten out after the first visit.

I am a rather reserved individual and the percedure is rather embarrassing however it's not that bad once you start and esp after the 1st visit.

I can say from personal experience...this is a great alternative. The only problem would be for anyone trying to pack on or maintain weight or who is on a cycle. This worked wonders for me after eating bad and being on a long layoff. I would highly suggest it to anyone who is looking to detox, lean out, and get the body back to a naturally strong functioning state (harmony). It takes 3 to 4 visits to really get the best results (1 month, 1 a week). The diet and fasting during this time would not promote weight gains or maintenance. If you are in a jam you can go once but it's not going to solve the problem. For a body builder, try the enzymes and maybe incorporate some enzyme heavy foods to your diet first.
