Hello friends, I got my hair transplant surgery done. I had 2,200 grafts implanted into my receded hairline.

The surgeons take hair from the back of your head that is resistant to DHT , this hair is known as “donor hair”. You only have a limited amount of donor hair and once the donor hair is extracted from the back of your head it will NEVER grow back.

I had 4,000 donor hairs and now have only 1800 left. The doctor told me I have to stop taking highly androgenic steroids (anadrol, proviron, high test dosages) and advised me to use DHT blockers like finasteride to regrow my thinning crown area.

I’m personally not willing to take finasteride , this is fine because I simply wanted my hairstyle to be a buzz cut. Most guys want hair they can style and grow out but I hated how I couldn’t even have a buzz cut due to how bad my hairline receded.

I will stop abusing strong androgens and go down to 200mg test cyp TRT. The only steroids I can use now are nandrolone and anavar.

The process is quite painful but you are heavily sedated on benzodiazepines. The surgery took 8 hours.

First thing you need to do is lose your fear of going bald. Read my previous post on the solution I’ve been using and getting great results. You don’t need to take oral pills you can crush finasteride and use it topically with Minox, New studies are showing similar results without the side effects using it topically. I also add RU 58841. And I am three months in to this regimen and having excellent results. Hair transplants rarely work long-term for most people. Whatever is causing your hair loss now will just move into the transplant area and Do the same thing. At best you might get here for a couple of years.

I’m fighting it with my current regimen and if it doesn’t work, no big deal I’ll just shave my damn head. And people will laugh at this but you should look up the newest and latest technologies with glue down scalp hair. You literally cannot tail and they stay in place for a couple of months at a time. Runs about $300 per session. I’ve seen dudes have these done with the most recent technology and you literally can part the hair and look straight down into the scalp and not tell that it’s fake. They’ve come a long way from the old toupee.

As you get older, shaved head, maybe with some good strong facial hair, and keeping your body lean and ripped and trust me, the ladies will still lineup for you. It’s all in how you design your overall look and how you carry yourself.

If I’m not mistaken, the hair transplanted is DHT resistant here, so it would not do the same thing.

Had 4,000 total in 2 sessions. Stopped finasteride and hit the tren hard for 10 years. Guess what. They are all gone

Yeah, many guys have great results with topical fin and min. It's worth at least a shot. Just note that there is some systemic absorption from topical finasteride and will usually reduce serum DHT levels.


Many guys get no side effects from full dose oral finasteride and most guys get zero sides from microdosed oral finasteride or topical finasteride. Oftentimes, any sides will resolve themselves after 2-4 weeks when the body adjusts, but many guys give up at any sign of trouble due to the fear of "permanent side effects' which does not make sense from a physiological perspective but it does from a psychological one.
