I had the misfortune to have to listen to the many hypesters from CNN and ESPN about the senate hearings on Steroids in Major League baseball.. This is being headed by Congressliar Tom Davis.. of Virginia. Now keep in mind, when the Montreal Expos were being shopped around the US, his state was turned down in favor of Washington D.C. So, little Tommy had a tantrum and he pulled this.. so I went to his website and I will go to all the Congressliars involved and send them my feelings on their hypocrasy.. This is what I wrote.. Why dont you just call it what it really is, a political soapbox for you. I guess this is what MLB gets for turning down your state for an expansion team. Looks like you didnt get your way, so your going to try and blacken the eye of baseball.
Its painfully obvious that you have no real firsthand knowledge of steroids and their effect. You do have the hyped up version from the lies of your constituents. So they can dignify their illegality of steroids. But the next time your going to work in your limo.. please look to the side of the road and just try and count the many cigarette butts, cigarette packs, beer bottles or cans, liquor bottles.. and know that some of that trash was consumed by the children your claiming to protect from dangerous drugs.
Thousand of Virginia children and teenagers in your state smoke cigarettes, and consume alcohol. Im willing to bet all my money that the ratio of cigarettes/alcohol to steroid use and abuse is at least 1000 to 1. Here is the interesting part.. on the bottom of the cigarette packs and on the stems of the liqour bottles there are these intracate looking stamps.. they are tax stamps! And correct me if I am wrong but dont congressmen like you get paid from that? So since cigarettes contain nicotine which is a highly addictive DRUG and alcohol is a mildly addictive DRUG, doesnt that make you all drug dealers?
Do the young people a favor and stop profiting from dangerous drugs like nicotine and alcohol while your performing your tantrum-witch hunt.... you look like a hypocrite.. me.. Id rather have my child taking steroids responsibly than looking like a liar and hypocrite any day.
