I posted this on the main page, for some infomation,but no responses. Posting it up becuase I have alot time on my hands and feeling I need to talk about my situation.
Anyone have any form of myopathy here and still able to lift or exercise. I recentley been diagnosed with some type of myopathy and I'm hoping it is not myositis. I woke up and could not walk or contract any of my muscles. All my muscles feel as i just lifted and that they are all filled with latic acid. Went to the neurologist he ruled out a nerve disorder with a electromyogram (EMG) and my blood work showed my muscle enzymes were highly elavated. I can barely walk. He was asking me if I was taking AAS or any supplements because they could have contamination or chemical solvents that cause an autoimmune response in the muscles. I hoping I just have a viral muscke infection or a chemical response that is cauing this becaus ethere is no cure for myositis disorders. Anyone have any experiences. This really sucks i'm out of work becaus ei can't even walk and i can even hardly get around the house without assisstance. All this on top of my other health issues like my
pitutitory tumor. This by far way worse. At times I stuck sitting on the floor of my home becaus emy muscles won't even contract so I can even stand to walk to the bathroom. I crawl around on my elbows and forearms , bt they start to give out becaus ethey constantly have a pump like weakness like as i just did a 1000 pushups or curls.
Anyone have any imput or experiences or even just talk. Im home all day bored out of my mind. I know I really can't do anything, but wait dor the doctors, but they have not started any treatment. I'm about to go find the real live House. Suppose to be one in N.Y. Its been a week that I'm like this.
