I was told that milled flax will slow down protein digestion as it's nothing more than fiber. Flax by itself can act like a laxative. For me - flax or high protein has never given me the shits.
The stuff is Cheap. I get it in one pound bags at the Health Foods store, the brand they keep refridgerated - to maintain freshness and keep from oxidizing. I use about 2 tablespoons per drink - it's flavorless but is somewhat gritty (not like sand but something that doesn't dissolve)
