Shocked no one has brought up IGF use for joints...may want to research its use for recovering joints but most things I have seen are geared towards a specific injury recovering. I think to raise IGF for full body healing purposes gh may be more useful...just my opinion...I don't have a study to post to show WHY... ;-)
I would say hgh would be a great choice for 40+ yrs old ANYWAY...I don't know that anavar would be very beneficial to him for what you discussed but would help strength levels and leanness over time...I like HRT + anavar + gh all low to moderate doses. Anavar only for a couple months at a time and at a dosage that would make most people here laugh...20mg a day. But if I have decent results I just take the LEAST I can for them...250 test every 5th day, 3iu gh split into 2-3 shots a day and two 10mg anavar one in the morn and one in the afternoon. Simple.
In a few months on gh my joints are about 30% better. I sleep better. Moods are better. Skin looks better. Leaner. Recovery is better. Great stuff for all purpose, kinda like test! I think deca for me, mainly just masks the joint pain by putting a bunch of water in the joint...seems during deca therapy I can train hard and joints feel good but as soon as I get off I lose the water weight and BAM joints are worse than before and I can barely train. So I don't use it anymore. EQ seems to help strengthen tendons some...but I rarely use that either.
